There is 180 Days in the 2025/2026 School year.

Sept 2nd - First Day for Students
Sept 26 th – PD Day – No school for students
Sept 30th – Truth and Reconciliation Day – No school for students
Oct 13th - Thanksgiving Day - No school for Students
Nov 10 th – PD Day – No school for students
Nov 11th - Remembrance Day Holiday - No school for students
Dec 19th - Last day of school for Christmas Break (1/2 Day)
Jan 5th - First day back
Feb 16th - Family Day Holiday - No school for students
March 2th - 6th - March Break - No school for students
April 2 nd – PD Day – No school for students
April 3rd -6th - Easter Break - No school for students
May 11 th – PD Day - No school for students
May 18th - Victoria Day Holiday - No school for students
June 19th - Last day of school for students (1/2 Day)

2025 - 2026 Calendar

WCA will operate this year with a blended learning schedule that is a combination of at home learning and in school learning.

In home learning will take place Monday's and Friday's.

In school learning will take place on Tuesday's, Wednesday's, and Thursday's

ONE: Sept 2 nd - Nov 7 th - 46 days of combined learning (Report cards issued Nov 14th)
TWO: Nov 12th – Jan 30th - 46 days of combined learning (Report cards issued Feb 6th)
THREE: Feb 2nd - April 17th - 46 days of combined learning (Report cards issued April 24th)
FOUR: April 20th - June 19th - 42 days of combined learning (Report cards issued June 26th)

Dates in italics indicate school will be closed for WCA students. Other days of school closure will be added as necessary. Fundraising activities will be held throughout the school year, dates will be announced in the communications emailed out and posted online. Public School PD days are excluded from our calendar as days off as they fall on either Monday's or Friday's which are at home learning days anyway.
